Baseball Skills Coach


Brett is originally from Southern California where he was a three-year Varsity starter at Camarillo high school. He was a member of the 2002 CIF Division I State Championship team. He was a two-time All Conference player and was named named the Pacific View League Player of the Year in and First Team All-CIF in 2004.

Brett continued his academic and baseball career at The University of Arizona. He suffered a shoulder injury during a game his freshman season, which eventually ended his playing career. He went on to finish his degree at Arizona while staying heavily involved with the baseball program. Upon graduating he was hired on the coaching staff by 2018 College Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Andy Lopez. He primarily worked with the outfielders, hitters, and was the Camp Director. During his three season as an assistant coach (2010 -2012) the Wildcats reached three NCAA Regionals, one Super-Regional, one College World Series. He was the first base coach on the 2012 College World Series National Championship team. Over his eight seasons at Arizona Brett was fortunate to learn all aspects of the game from a Hall of Fame coaching staff.
