Jason was a four year varsity starter at Vernon Hills High School. After high school, Jason attended College of Lake County, Bradley University, and Carthage College. He received All Conference honors as a First Basemen and Pitcher at CLC. In 2008, Jason was unanimously named First Team All American by both the Writers and Coaches Polls. He signed a contract to play in the Frontier League after his college career ended.

Jason currently coaches at Carthage College where he works with hitters and fielders. Prior to coaching at Carthage, Jason served as an assistant coach at Vernon Hills High School for 2 seasons. He also acts as a hitting consultant for the College of Lake County Softball Team. Since his playing career ended, Jason has been fortunate to meet and work with some of the Nation’s leading experts in hitting, personal training, and pitching. Jason has used the information learned from these experts to create custom training programs addressing overall baseball development while minimizing injury and gaining strength. During past training programs, players experienced an average velocity increase of 5mph on their throws and 7mph on their bat exit speed while also improving mechanics and power.
