Slammers Training Academy would like to invite you to share our indoor facility with 6 State of the Art batting machines (for both Baseball and Softball). Under new ownership which consists of local baseball specialists including L.A. Dodgers Catcher, Gary Bennett. Gary has been playing in the Pro’s since 1995 (2006 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals Catcher). The Expertise of our Academy stems from the top, where co-owners Todd Fine (Founder of Top Tier, 5-Year Consecutive 18-U State Champions), Dar Townsend (Former 15-Year Head Varsity Coach at Warren Township H.S.) and Tom Knauss (2nd round draft pick by Minnesota Twins, and 6-Year MLB Career) all have wealth of baseball knowledge into our Programs, Clinics and Lessons. Slammers was also home to the Ryan Theriot Camp in January 2008. Slammers & partners have developed over 100 collegiate & MLB players!
Slammers offers Professional Instruction for an affordable price and the facility is easily accessible from anywhere in the North Shore. Slammers Indoor Training Center offers more than double the room of any competition in the area – 18,000 total square feet, with multiple hitting, fielding, pitching and instructional cages available. Camps and Clinics are organized and instructed all year round, and are designed by Major Leaguers. By far, Slammers is able to offer clients the best service for the best price. With instruction from our incredible staff, which includes 3 Current MLB Players, Regional MLB Scouting Directors and Associate Scouts, Founder of recent 5th ranked 18-U Team Nationwide, 4 Former or Current High School Varsity Baseball Coaches and over 10 former MLB Alumnus.
Slammers is also affiliated with Prep Baseball Report, publisher of the Premier Illinois High School Baseball Magazine in the Midwest.
