Slammers Advanced Hitting & Offensive Skills Program

Slammers Training Academy brings together two former Major Leaguers Gary Bennett & Scott Stahoviak along with Slammers Instructors Dar Townsend & Ed Tolzien in an exclusive Advanced Hitting Camp.  Instruction will hone in on exposing and fine tuning each players' strengths and weaknesses at the plate and how to utilize those properly.  Participants will learn how to become an offensice threat, and we also help develop hard working routines that are proven to increase consistent success when at the plate.

The Advanced Hitting & Offensive Skills Program will be available Wednesday Nights for three 4-week sessions from September 15th - December 22nd.  Participants will be split by age level with 9-11 year olds going from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and 12-14 year olds going from 7:15 - 8:15 PM each Wednesday Night.  Limited to first 18 participants, register now space is limited!

Slammers Advanced Pitching Program

Slammers Advanced Pitching Program is designed to maximize each of the players' effectiveness while on the mound.  Slammers Pitching Instructors and former Major Leaguer Bryan Ward will team up with former Minor Leaguer Greg Kloosterman to train Pitchers on how to work ahead in the counts, increase velocity and accuracy, and shape into an endurance tested athlete.  These sessions will progressively advance from the basic fundamentals to the advanced mechanics of Pitching.

The Advanced Pitching Program will be available Monday Nights for three 4-week sessions from September 13th - December 20th.  Participants will be split by age level with 9-11 year olds going from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and 12-14 year olds going from 7:15 - 8:15 PM each Monday Night.  Limited to first 12 participants, register now space is limited!

Slammers Advanced Fielding & Defensive Skills Program

Slammers Advanced Fielding & Defensive Skills Program will focus on the finer details on how to correctly field a ground ball.  Instructed by the Top Tier Youth Baseball Staff Steve Burch & Kyle Frischmann, this program will cover the proper fundamental approach to fielding.  Emphasizing the use of soft hands, developing quick and agile footwork and finishing with a balanced base and a strong throw.  Players will be taught the dynamics of each position and how to play successfully at each.

The Advanced Fielding Program will be available Wednesday Nights for three 4-week sessions from September 15th - December 22nd.  Participants will be split by age level with 9-11 year olds going from 7:15 - 8:15 PM and 12-14 year olds going from 8:30 - 9:30 PM each Monday Night.  Limited to first 18 participants, register now space is limited!
