Slammers Training Academy announces Summer Camps for June & July, 2010. During the Summer of 2009, Slammers was host to Summer Camps featuring Chicago Cubs' Aaron Miles & 2008 Cubs All-Star Pitcher Ryan Dempster. Slammers supreme training staff is led by owner & former MLB Veterans Gary Bennett & Scott Stahoviak, MLB Scouts Todd Fine & Jim Sakas, Dar Townsend, Pat Kelly, Ed Tolzien & a host of other Professional Instructors. Libertyville Sports Complex Camp (6/14 - 6/17/10) Brochure Register
Recommended for all 6-9 year old ballplayers, this Summer Camp will include 4 Days of Top Level Instruction provided by Slammers Professional Staff. Slammers will have access to both the indoor & outdoor facilities at the Sports Complex in case of rain. This program will cover all aspects of Baseball including Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, Base Running, Pitching and Catching. Registration Cost: $125/player. Libertyville Sports Complex is located at 1950 N. US Route 45 in Libertyville.
Libertyville Butler Lake Complex Camp (6/21 - 6/24/10) Brochure Register
Recommended for all 9-14 year old ballplayers, this Summer Camp will include 4 Days of Top Level Instruction provided by Slammers Professional Staff. Slammers will have access to multiple fields at the Butler Lake Baseball Complex and will use Slammers facility in Lake Forest in case of rain. This skill specific program will cover all aspects of Baseball including Hitting & Base Running in both sessions and Pitching & Catching and Infield & Outfield in specific sessions. Registration Cost: $125/session or $200/both. Butler Lake Complex is located at 500 Lake St. in Libertyville.
