Slammers Summer Baseball Skills Programs

Slammers Training Academy announces Summer Camps for June & July, 2011.  During the Summer of 2009, Slammers was host to Summer Camps featuring Chicago Cubs' Aaron Miles & 2008 Cubs All-Star Pitcher Ryan Dempster.  Slammers supreme training staff is led by owner & former MLB Veterans Gary Bennett & Scott Stahoviak, MLB Scouts Todd Fine & Jim Sakas, Dar Townsend, Pat Kelly, Ed Tolzien & a host of other Professional Instructors.  Register for your spot today, space is limited!  More locations & weeks expected to be added by Spring Break, keep posted for a location nearby or register now!

Week 5:  July 18th - 21st, 2011 (4-Day Program)

Recommended for all 7-12 year old ballplayers, this Summer Camp will include 4 Days of Top Level Instruction, Baseball Skills Competitions and Scrimmage Games provided by Slammers.  Instruction led by Slammers Professional Staff along with newest addition to Slammers and 2005 World Series Champion Neal Cotts, which includes a plethora of knowledge and experience of the game of baseball ready to help your players to develop their own skills.  Slammers will have access to the indoor facilities at Slammers in case of rain.  This program covers all aspects of Baseball including Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, Base Running, Pitching & Catching.  Butler Lake Complex is located at 500 Lake Street in Libertyville.

Recommended for Players Ages 7 - 12 years old (12:00 - 2:30pm)

Registration Cost:  $150 (Members) and $175 (Non-Members)

Recommended for all 8-13 year old ballplayers, this Summer Camp will include 4 Days of Top Level Instruction mixed with inter-squad scrimmage games provided by Slammers Professional Staff.  Slammers will have access to the indoor facilities at Slammers in case of rain.  This program covers all aspects of Baseball including Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, Base Running, Pitching & Catching.  North Park Baseball Complex is located at 1025 Riverwoods Rd. in Lincolnshire.

Recommended for Players Ages 8 - 13 years old (12:00 - 2:30pm)

Registration Cost:  $150 (Members) and $175 (Non-Members)

Week 3:  June 20th - June 23rd, 2011 (4-Day Camp)

Recommended for all 6-12 year old ballplayers, this Summer Camp will include 3 Days of Top Level Instruction provided by Slammers Professional Staff.  Slammers will have access to both the indoor & outdoor facilities at the Sports Complex in case of rain.  This program will cover all aspects of Baseball including Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, Base Running, Pitching and Catching.  Registration Cost:  $100/player for Members and $125 for Non-Members.  Libertyville Sports Complex is located at 1950 N. US Route 45 in Libertyville at the corner of Peterson Rd. and Route 45.
