Derek Mitchell

Derek is touted as one of the best fielding instructors in the state of Illinois. Derek played seven years of professional baseball with three organizations, including the Tigers, White Sox, Reds. He also played in the 1995 United States Summer Olympics for Team USA. Derek was the Head Sophomore Coach at Carmel High School for one year, and now teaches fielding, hitting and pitching at Slammers on Thursday nights after 6:30 P.M.
