Ed Tolzien

Ed played the corner outfield positions and First Base as a member of Illinois State from 1998 - 2001 where he was voted 3 consecutive years as an All-Missouri Valley Performer (1999 - 2001). Ed was named Strength & Conditioning All-American in 2001, and was then drafted in the 18th Round by the Aneheim Angels in the 2001 MLB Draft. He played with the Provo Angels and the Cedar Rapid Kernels, and has taught baseball for over 6 years. Ed is usually available for instruction from Monday through Friday after 4pm and on some weekends upon request. Ed is currently employed at Slammers as the General Manager, and is available for questions and comments at: ed@slammersillinois.com.
