Jason Pankau
Jason played locally at York High School and went onto play baseball at Illinois Wesleyan University. While at Illinois Wesleyan, Jason broke the school's record marks for most career Wins as a Pitcher (25) and most career Strikeouts (256), as well as pitching 2 games in the 2010 NCAA Division 3 World Series (winning both) including the NCAA D3 World Series Championship Game. Jason was voted 2-time ABCA/Rawlings All-American, Central Region First Team (2010) and Central Region Pitcher of the Year (2011), while making First Team CCIW and earning consecutive CCIW Pitcher of the Year Awards ('10 & '11).
Jason now plays with the River City Rascals and spends his free time working in camps, clinics and providing private instruction for local ballplayers looking to increase their level of skill. Jason is free to teach at any time now until March, please contact Slammers for more booking information.
