Libertyville Sports Complex Training Programs

Slammers teams up with Libertyville Sports Complex to share our professional training programs at another convenient location.  These great Camps are run by Slammers Professional Training Staff, and will get your ballplayer ready for all Skills learned for the upcoming Spring Season.

Winter Break Baseball Skills Camp

Ages 6-11 year olds:  Tuesday - Thursday Morning (9:00 - 10:30am)

Slammers Training Academy will be hosting an all-inclusive hitting, throwing, pitching, base running, core training and fielding program for Winter Break.  Players will be trained in all aspects of the game of baseball for three 1.5-hour sessions over Winter Break.  Slammers Coaching Staff, led by Pat Kelly and Frank Berry, will break down each participants swing and focus on improving technique through drills and repetition as well as throwing motion, pitching mechanics and fielding positioning and footwork.  Players will be separated by age and skill level.  Have your player spend some quality time over Winter Break with our Staff to improve baseball skills, available to the first 30 players.

Session Dates:  December 27th - 29th, 2011

Registration Cost:  $100 (Members) or $125 (Non-Members)

Winter Baseball Hitting Clinic

Ages 7-12 year olds:  Thursday Nights (6:00-7:00pm OR 7:00-8:00pm)

Slammers Hitting Instructors will break down each participants swing in this 6-week program from the stance to the swing's finish, and through drills & repetition, we will help make adjustments that each participant can carry into this Upcoming Season.  Get the rust off with the proper training and mechanics that once learned, can consistently be incorporated into your routine.

Session 1:  January 5th - February 9th, 2012

Session 2:  February 16th - March 22nd, 2012

Group 1:  6:00 - 7:00pm (Ages 7-9)

Group 2:  7:00 - 8:00pm (Ages 10-12)

Registration Cost (Members/Residents):  $100/session or $180/both

Registration Cost (Non-Members): $125/session or $225/both

Slammers Pitching Instructors work with each participant on their approach and delivery on the mound.  With progressive drill (easy to complex), our Instructors will help build the proper mechanics which will help prevent or eliminate future injuries.  Learn proper mechanics that can consistently be incorporated into your routine.

Session 1:  January 3rd - February 7th, 2012

Session 2:  February 14th - March 20th, 2012

Camp Time:  7:00 - 8:00pm (Ages 9-12)

Softball Hitting Clinic

Ages 9-12 year olds:  Tuesday Nights (6:00-7:00pm)

Slammers new Softball Skills Instructor Heather Ruchim will be working with conjunction with the Slammers Staff to bring a Softball Hitting Skills Camp for Girls from 3rd-6th grades looking to improve their talents, staying consistent and successful in the batters box.  Drills from the basic to the advanced will be administered on participants' individual skill level.

Session 1:  January 3rd - February 7th, 2012

Session 2:  February 14th - March 20th, 2012
