Christian Correa

Hitting/Defensive Coach

Christian Correa, a native of Coconut Creek, Florida, is a professional baseball player for the past six years. His contributions have allowed him to experience four championship teams over the past four seasons. Christian originally signed with the Houston Astros in 2015 as a catcher out of Nicholls State University where he spent several years in their organization. After a year in Independent Baseball with the KC T-Bones and Sussex County Miners his contract was sold to the Colorado Rockies. He also spent several winter seasons in Colombia where he was asked to play on the Colombian National Team. He was a key to their success in the Pan American games which resulted in the opportunity to qualify for the 2020 Olympics. He was on the 35-man roster for the Colombian World Baseball Classic Team. His most recent professional baseball experience was with the Milwaukee Milkmen in the American Association, where they won the 2020 Championship.

Christian has been giving lessons and coaching whenever the opportunity comes along when he was in South Florida. Being in the baseball rich area of the country also allowed him to develop professional relationships and train with current MLB players. He has learned a lot from them such as Salvador Perez, Christian Vasquez, Rene Rivera, Jesus Luzardo, Mike Fiers, Miguel Cabrera and many others. He wants to continue giving lessons and coaching to help students achieve their swing and defensive skills to their full potential.

Christian played his high school ball at North Broward Prep in the Miami area and was an All-County selection by the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald, while being named a regional All-American by Under Armour. He played at Chipola College prior to going to Nicholls State University where he earned his degree and consecutive spots on the All-Panhandle Conference Team as a freshman and sophomore while also being selected to the All-State Tournament team in Region 8.
