Slow motion video analysis is a great way for players to grasp an understanding of what they do well and what they need to improve on in all facets of the game. Positional players, pitchers, hitters, and even fielders can benefit from video analysis/breakdown and professional feedback.
All of these are issues that we see on a regular basis. Our solution to this issue is “Video Analysis Instruction”. Our service allows you to take a video of your swing and send it to us. Within 24 hours of us receiving it, one of our instructors will be able to provide video analysis with audio feedback. New technologies have really brought forth helpful tools we gave now use to down the mechanics and provide a thorough analysis of your submission. Think of pitchers reducing chance of possible injury by learning their bodies and tendencies through slow motion analysis and hitters developing better trends and habits.
Individual Video Analysis is now available - please understand we consider each facet as a separate analysis and multiple facets (hitting/pitching/fielding) will be assessed per facet. Players interested in continual learning can take advantage of our video analysis membership options.
When videotaping the players at-bats, there is a specific location that we need to see the video from. Ideally, the evaluator would need to see the batter's chest when standing in the box (images below). If the batter is a left-handed hitter, stand on the third base side so that we can see their chest straight on (or as close as possible) and as a right-handed hitter, stand on the first base side. Do your best to include the whole body, this will allow us to properly view the swing to provide the best possible feedback.
