Welcome to Slammers Training Academy (Lake Forest, IL)

Slammers offers Professional Instruction for an affordable price and the facility is easily accessible from anywhere in the North Shore. Slammers Indoor Training Academy offers training room after our latest renovation (now around 22,500 square feet) with multiple areas for hitting, fielding, pitching with professional instruction available to help you develop your skill set.

Slammers Training Programs, Camps and Clinics are organized and instructed all year round, and have been designed by Major League players and our professional coaching staff. We are able to offer the service you are looking for at a great price, and given by our incredible staff, which includes 5 Former Major League Players, Regional MLB Scouting Directors and Associate Scouts, over 10 former or current high school varsity coaches and 15 former professional players.

Alex Booker's Pre-Season Softball HS Softball Clinic

Slammers Training Academy is proud to announce a new clinic taught by our new Softball Skills instructor and former Chicago Bandit Alex Booker. This Pre-Season High School Softball Clinic is a tune up is designed to provide an intense softball skills workout for any high school softball player aspiring to reach her full potential. Specific emphasis on offensive & defensive skill work along with speed, agility, footwork skills specific to softball.

Slammers 15u Team Competes Nationally

Slammers wants to congratulate our 2015 15u team in their pursuit to the 2015 Perfect Game Super 25 Regional Championship, which allowed them to compete against the top 15u teams in the country down in Emerson, Georgia this past July. Keep up the great work this Winter and Spring boys and let's have another memorable summer in 2016!

Slammers Announcing Unique Team Sales Opportunities

Now open to over 25 different vendors, Slammers is bringing a one-stop-shop ability for all organizations and teams. Daryl Bellows, Slammers new Team Sales Representative, brings almost 3 decades of experience to our staff along with all the top baseball and softball brands. Slammers Expands and Restructures Effectively

Slammers has completed reconstruction of the facility's cages where we added an additional lane of hitting and a NEW 1,200 sq ft of workout area for this upcoming Winter. To accommodate the growing population of teams as well as quality coaches that need space for training, Slammers wants to ensure the ability for all to succeed in their goals for the future.

Slammers Students Committing to Collegiate Programs!

Slammers would like to congratulate players from the Class of 2016 - pictured right is Sam Nozicka (Grayslake Central HS) committed to University of Memphis and Matt Collins (Carmel Catholic HS) committed to Cornell College. We wish those players as well as all the other future collegiate players good luck in their upcoming year of high school this year.

Skoug Awarded Gatorade IL Baseball Player of the Year

Slammers product and Libertyville resident Evan Skoug has been named the 2013-14 Gatorade Illinois Baseball Player of the Year. The award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, distinguishes Skoug as Illinois’s best HS baseball player.

Slammers Product Named MVP of D-3 National Championship!

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks won the 2014 NCAA Division 3 National Championship cruising to a 7-0 victory in the Championship game behind the magnificent performance of starting pitcher Scott Plaza who pitched a complete game striking out 9 in the shutout. The win gave the UW-Whitewater community it's "Triple Crown" sweeping the NCAA D-3 Football, Basketball and Baseball National Championships all in the same year.
