Kyle played locally in high school at Mundelein HS, and had the great
experience for playing under current Mundelein Head Coach Todd Parola
along with Slammers Instructor Ray Borucki and former players and Slammers Instructors Clay Kovac (Mundelein HS Coach) & Mike Nilles (Slammers 15-U Coach).
Mundelein's team in 2002 achieved a school record in wins (32) and a
4th Place Finish in the IHSA State Tournament. Kyle played
collegiately for Lewis University in Romeoville on academic/athletic scholarships.
Kyle has worked in the baseball industry and coaching youth teams for over 15 years. His 11u team in 2011 went 55-3
overall and won the CABA International World Series in July 2011 going
undefeated in the tournament as well as winning 33 consecutive games at
one point during the year. The team consisted of players from local Lake
Forest, Chicago, LaGrange, Highland Park, Waukegan all the way to Valparaiso, IN - including 1 player
from Saudi Arabia playing up as he was too young to qualify for Saudi's
National Team. He founded Select Baseball, a new Organization founded in 2012 that went 101-38-3 in its first year of existence.
