Tyler Esplin

Tyler a Lake Bluff native graduated IMG Academy in 2017 playing for the National team under coach Chris Sabo (Cincinnati Reds.). Tyler led the team in all offensive stats and earned the hitter of the year for IMG. Tyler was nominated and voted in to play on the 39th Annual FACA All-Star Game where Florida's top high school baseball players perform and was awarded MVP.

After graduating IMG Academy, at age 17, Tyler was selected and signed with the Boston Red Sox in the 7th Round of the 2017 MLB draft. With 7 years of Professional baseball under his belt at only 24 years old. Most recently finishing his season with AA Portland Sea Dogs playing outfield and first base. Esplin has spent time in Full-A with the Greenville Drive and Advanced-A Salem Red Sox. As a left-handed hitter his last game of the2023 season with Portland Sea Dogs Tyler hit a franchise record with 7 RBI’s falling a triple short of the cycle.
