Slammers is proud to be affiliated with new Pitching Coach Neal Cotts. Neal attended Illinois State University, where he played all 4 years as a Pitcher. Neal was drafted in 2001 by the Oakland Athletics, and was soon traded to the Chicago White Sox about a year later in December of 2002 where he played for a total of 4 seasons with the South Siders. Neal also pitched for the Chicago Cubs on the North Side of town for 3 years spanning 2007 - '09.

During his tenure with the White Sox, Neal enjoyed a career year in 2005 when the White Sox won the World Series. Neal's career best ERA of 1.94 with 69 appearance, totalling 60 & 1/3 innings pitched and 58 strikeouts. Neal has been acquired by the Texas Rangers for the 2013 and has been having a great year thus far with an ERA under 1.00 in over 20 appearances and almost 30 IP in relief this Summer.

Neal brings a wealth of talent to the Slammers training staff, please contact Slammers if you are interested in private or group training with Neal. He will begin training after the season, typically between the holidays until early February.

Private Training (30 min/per)

Program Players: $60.00

Members/Partner Teams: $70.00

Non-Members: $80.00

Group Training (1 hour/per)

2 Players: $75.00/player

3 Players: $60.00/player

4 Players: $50.00/player
